Year 8 Theatre Company Presents High School Musical

On Tuesday 23rd June, our talented Year 8 students proudly presented their own shortened version of High School Musical to an audience of invited guests.

What made this performance particularly special was that the students took full responsibility for every aspect of the production. They worked collaboratively to create, direct and perform the show, demonstrating outstanding creativity, teamwork and dedication throughout the rehearsal process.

In addition to performing on stage, the students sourced all of the music, scripts, costumes and props themselves, developing valuable organisational and leadership skills along the way. Their passion and commitment were evident in every scene, and they rose to the challenge with enthusiasm and professionalism.

The audience thoroughly enjoyed the performance and were impressed by the confidence, energy and talent displayed by the cast and production team. The event was a wonderful celebration of the students' hard work and showcased the many skills developed through performing arts, including creativity, communication, problem-solving and collaboration.
