Year 10 Geography Trip to Holford

Our Year 10 Geographers have been out in the field following the River Holford from source to mouth as part of their GCSE studies. During the trip, students collected data at three different locations, measuring a range of river characteristics which will support their learning and help prepare them for questions in their GCSE Geography Paper 3 next year.

Back in the classroom, students are processing and presenting their findings through graphs before analysing and evaluating their results and drawing conclusions from the data collected.

Year 10 were outstanding throughout all three fieldwork days and were a real credit to Haygrove School. Their enthusiasm, behaviour and engagement made them a pleasure to work with in the field. Well done, Year 10!
