Celebrating Success at Bath University with The Brilliant Club

A group of 14 Haygrove students recently attended a special graduation ceremony at the University of Bath to mark the completion of The Brilliant Club’s Scholars Programme. This prestigious initiative, delivered by PhD tutors across the UK, aims to inspire pupils by sharing university-level subject knowledge and fostering academic confidence. All 14 students achieved above a 2:2 in their final assignments—an impressive testament to their dedication and hard work.

During the visit, students enjoyed a Q&A session with current Bath University undergraduates, explored the campus on a guided tour, and proudly celebrated their achievements at the graduation ceremony. A student speaking on behalf of the Haygrove Scholars group, shared: “Over 7 tutorials we learnt about Malaria, including the life cycle of the parasite, vaccines and antibiotics. This was a new experience for us and helped to boost our confidence. This learning experience is something we will take with us through the rest of our lives.”
