RETURN TO SCHOOL from 8 March 2021 plans have been published. Click here.

Key workers' and vulnerable children are entitled to attend school during lockdown, but there is no requirement that you do so and you may have alternative childcare arrangements that you can use.  If you intend to send your child to school on any day, please email key@haygrove.somerset.sch.uk.

Following recent Government announcements regarding COVID-19 testing for all students and staff at school, please make sure you have confirmed or declinded consent for your child to be tested.  Click here to find out more and how to confirm your consent

ALL PARENTS - we are using email and the parent app to communicate with parents/carers, please check your spam/junk folder regularly and remember to save the sender email address as a contact so that future emails from school will go direct to your inbox. Please also register for the Parent App if you have not yet done so and remember to turn on notifications so that you are aware when a new email or message is sent.

Counselling and Chaplaincy

School Counsellor

We have a School Counselling service available to all students. Students can either self-refer, usually after talking to their Head of Year or informally with the School Counsellor, or be referred (via email, letter or phone) by a member of staff, often their Head of Year, or their parents.

Counselling is mostly humanistic in approach, although it will integrate other methods (such as CBT) where appropriate, and the number of meetings required is based on individual need.

School Visiting Chaplain

We are delighted to be welcoming Patrick Weld to Haygrove School from September 2018 as our visiting chaplain. He will be in school on a part-time basis to provide a listening ear to our school community.
