Below are links to some of the important information you need to make the right decision for your family:
Sex and Relationships Education (SRE) is taught as part of the school’s Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) programme. Three departments (PSHCE, Religious Education and Science) contribute to the programme.
At Key Stage 3 SRE is taught through health-related activities and through directed teaching time.
At Key Stage 4 SRE is taught through the Health and Welfare module, which all students follow, crash days, tutor time activities and assemblies
A School nurses clinic also runs every Wednesday
Parents can withdraw their children for part or all of the non-statutory Sex and Relationships Education programme. Any parent considering doing so, should contact the Assistant Head (Pastoral).
Our Sex and Relationships Policy is available upon request.
