Our Junior Leadership Team (JLT) is a wonderful opportunity for Year 10 students to further develop their skills. After a rigorous selection programme led by the outgoing JLT, successful candidates are awarded the sliver and red leadership ties designed by the students and are challenged to work on projects which enhance the school, liasing with staff and other student bodies as required.
They are able to develop their presentation skills by leading assemblies and talking to visiting groups, such as parents and local business people or the governing body. The team is encouraged to work independently, but supported and guided by staff, and we are immensly proud of their achievements to date.
