We are delighted you are considering our school for your child. Haygrove is an excellent secondary school where pupils make good progress and achieve outstanding examination results.

If you enjoy film, then join in the fun every Wednesday afterschool and Thursday lunchtime when a recent or classic film will be shown in the Library.
Girls' Night In/Lad's Night In
These evening events, held once very half term, are aimed at our Key Stage 3 students (Year 7, 8 and 9) and take place once every half term. Mixing fun activities (such as crafts and sports) with a quiz and a chance to look at books in our Library, the 'Nights In' are free to attend.
For each session, we invite a family member or carer to come along too so they can be a 'reading buddy' for their child and help bridge the gap between home and school reading.
All students are welcome to join in. Different genres of literature will be explored and students are given the opportunity to write their own short stories and poems.
A chance to read a book together for pleasure and then talk about it with friends and fellow students. Where relevant, cinema trips to see the film of the book are organised.
Students from all year groups are welcome.
The student paper has an editorial team who meet Wednesday lunchtime in the run-up to publication at the end of each term.
