With Glastonbury taking a break this year, Haygrove School offered festival goers a fantastic alternative with the annual return of Glastongrove!
On Friday 20th July, students finished their lessons at 1pm to gather on the field with staff to enjoy an afternoon of food, games and amazing music. Over 20 student bands, duos and solo performers took to the outdoor stage on the school field for our summer music spectacular. As well as student bands, the crowd was also treated to songs from the Halsway Manor/Haygrove folk group and brilliant guests from Richacrd Huish College.
The afternoon’s entertainment was hosted by Sedgemoor FM’s Dave Englefield. Many thanks to the Sedgemoor FM team for their support.
A big thank you to everyone who came along and well done to the students that took part. Another thankyou goes to the staff, in particular the music department, for making it happen. Bring on Glastongrove 2019!
