For the second part of the Cities Re-imagined/Schools Programme by CIAM 6, students from Years 7, 8 and 9 took part in an architecture and illustration based workshop at Bridgwater Arts Centre.

The students had talks from special guests including architectural designers and town counselors about the importance of urban design and planning as well as giving feedback on the students' ideas and designs. When describing and explaining the buildings they had made, the students gave brilliant, in depth answers - really impressing everyone in the room!
The students also got to dress up to re-enact a historical conference and were treated to a live drawing from a professional illustrator that works within the architecture industry. Learning about drawing in 3D and in perspective was fascinating indeed!
Well done and thanks to all those that were involved.
