We are delighted you are considering our school for your child. Haygrove is an excellent secondary school where pupils make good progress and achieve outstanding examination results.
Below are links to some of the important information you need to make the right decision for your family:
It was wonderful to see many of the Class of 2019 back in school for their GCSE Awards Evening earlier this week. The year group’s Head of Year Miss R Mitchell and Headteacher Mr Reid welcomed the returning students and their families before guest speaker and ex-Haygrove student Megan Beech spoke eloquently about the highs and lows of her personal journey to becoming a respected performance poet who has graced the stage at local pubs and clubs across the UK as well as the Royal Albert Hall and the O2 Academy.
With musical performances from Class of 2019 musicians, Patrick Lockyer and Tabitha Silverson, the evening was an opportunity for all to reflect on their time at Haygrove School and enjoy each other’s company once again. The students were each invited up on to the stage to collect their GCSE certificates from Megan and Mr Reid and were met with huge applause for their excellent achievements. Specific students were also selected to receive Subject Awards for their achievements in specific subjects and Special Awards for their contribution to the life of the school during their time at Haygrove. View the list of Subject and Special Award holder here.
Many thanks go to all of our speakers, musical performers, catering team and to Monkton Elm Garden Centre (for lending plants for decoration) and to everyone else that made the event a success.
If you were unable to attend the evening and still need your GCSE certificates, please collect them from school reception between 8.30 am and 4 pm.
