Home Schooling during Closure

3 April 2020

We hope that you and your families are continuing to stay safe in this unprecedented time. As we adapt to working and learning in this new way, we have taken feedback from a number of parents and are reviewing the home learning that is being shared via SMHW. Further information and guidance will be shared in due course.

Don't forget you can access a range of resources to help with home schooling here: https://bit.ly/2UHhK6I

We are continuing to offer care provision over the Easter holidays for children of key workers, but must stress that children should only be in school if there is no other safe alternative for them. Please email key@haygrove.somerset.sch.uk if you require your child to be in school over the coming weeks.

Be safe and have a happy Easter holiday.

How to log in to Show My Homework

Go to the Haygrove School Show My Homework Login page and click on LOGIN in the top right hand corner of the webpage.

Students: log in using your Google username. You do not need to use the log in PIN.

Parents: log in using your PIN only and you will then be asked to provide an email address and set up a password for your account.

Where students have no, or limited, access to the internet, there are supported homework clubs and access to ICT in school at lunchtime and until 4.30pm each day.

Please note: Students will need to keep their planners as they contain useful information and are an important means of home-school communication. We would like parents/carers to check and sign Planners weekly and to contact the Form Tutor if they have any concerns about homework.
