We are working hard to develop a Growth Mindset culture to support our school community to surpass expectations by focusing on EFFORT, GRIT AND DETERMINATION.
Put simply a Growth Mindset is when you believe you can improve and make progress with effort and determination. You understand that mistakes are a valuable part of the learning process because by experiencing them you are able to learn how to improve.
By developing a Growth Mindset culture we are encouraging our whole school community to embrace challenge, apply effort and demonstrate resilience. These core features demonstrate a successful Growth Mindset attitude which in turn will enable success to flourish.
We recently asked our students to complete a short questionnaire to discover their Growth Mindset score. You can test yourself using the same Questionnaire. The current scores and more about developing a Growth Mindset were explained to each year group during Assembly.
