Below are links to some of the important information you need to make the right decision for your family:
Students from Year11 have been appointed as House Captains after submitting applications describing how they could contribute to the recently introduced House System. Head of House Ms Smith said “The House Captains have been chosen for their leadership skills and have demonstrated enthusiasm and the ability to motivate others.”
We have four houses, each named after famous explorers who have conquered Mount Everest: Stephens, Mallory, Hargreaves and Bonington. The new House Captains have already been busy finding out all about their duties which include electing a team of deputies from Year 10, maintaining House information noticeboards, working closely with staff to organise a programme of House activities for the rest of the year and motivating students across the school to get involved and earn points for their House!
The competition between each of the Houses has already begun with all year groups taking part in a Tag Rugby Tournament and a regular weekly House Quiz, all of which earn the winning Houses points which accumulate through the year.
