We are delighted you are considering our school for your child. Haygrove is an excellent secondary school where pupils make good progress and achieve outstanding examination results.
Below are links to some of the important information you need to make the right decision for your family:
Wanessa, Jamie, Fleur and Kez are all in form 7S. Their form tutor is Mrs Mills. The girls spend lots of time together during school, both in lessons and at break and lunchtime.
"In Year 7 most of our lessons are taken with the rest of our form so it is easy to get to know lots of people because you spend plenty of time with them." says Jaime who came to Haygrove School from St Mary's Primary School. Jaime was already friends with Fleur, who also went to St Mary's, but both girls have got to know new people over their first year and have found it easy to settle into their new school. Fleur says, "Everyone was so friendly and helpful during the first few weeks, it was easy to get used to everything and find your way around. 7S is the best form, of course, as our tutor is brilliant and there is a great mix of people in the class."
Wanessa, was glad that there were some familiar faces in her form when she started back in September, but has since made new friends too. "When I came to Haygrove for the induction day it was exciting to see who else was going to be in my form. In 7S there are two other students from Westover Green, which was my old primary school, and although they weren't my close friends it was good to see some familiar faces. Of course, since then I have made lots of new friends, especially Kez, Fleur and Jaimie, which has been great."
"Although I was the only person from Stogursey Primary School in my form, I did know some of the other girls and soon became good friends with Fleur, Jaimie and Wanessa which has made my first year at Haygrove really brilliant," says Kez. "We all look forward to break and lunchtime when we can play out on the field or chat in our form room or at one of the picnic benches."
